A Zombie Story   I awake to the delicious scent of fresh, juicy flesh. The haunting reality of what I've truly become antagonizes the part of my mental being that has been left unchanged. My sister lies upon that revolting old violet polyester couch, her long wavy chestnut locks cascade over the edge of the couches fattened arm. Her warm tanned skin around those perfect dark lips are covered with remainders of neon orange powdered cheese from Cheedo's, her favourite snack. Alone I cry Crying on the ground That's bound to our heels It feels, it cries It's sad to the bone For it's used It's abused It's so broken and bruised By our heels we scuff On the floor of the ground As we rip the flesh Poison the blood All for our own gluttony We destroy We kill We murder at will All for a new pair of shoes That grow too tight And crush our feet Leaving us all alone Crying on the ground

  Dark clouds gather around the peeks of a snowless mountain as blood and flesh gush down from the high cave.  Loud echoing crashes of thunder awaken me from my trance. The beast above has stolen something dear to me and I will get it back if it's the last thing I do. I begin to climb toward the morbid scene above. The opening to a dark cave is what I see, with two dark red eyes glaring at me with a deepest hatred. As the eyes carefully make their way out of the darkness of the cave she begins to show me her pale skin with stains of dark crimson upon it.
